LTC COMORPD participating in an international project on Parkinson's disease granted with $9 million

We’re thrilled to share that Cristina Miguelez and Jérôme Baufreton teams, LTC CoMorPD investigation group, have been selected for a multi-year grant to join the Collaborative Research Network (CRN).

Backed by a major funding expansion from Aligning Science Across Parkinson’s (ASAP) in partnership with The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, the team will investigate how the subthalamic and para-subthalamic nuclei drive the development of cognitive deficits and psychiatric symptoms in Parkinson’s disease. We cannot wait to see this crucial work advance under such prestigious global support.
